Just curious about various ways ppl have found that works? All are adults. From what I am told it seems various ppl were forced to move out of houses FAST and just left them behind. Spayed/neutered friendly.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

What works for me is posting them for adoption online. That is how I have rehomed most of my fosters.
Now there is an application/fee associated with adopting them otherwise I may not use this method because I wouldn't want them used for testing, feeding snakes or other terrible things.
I have also created a page on Facebook promoting my fosters which has attracted a lot of attention and helped me find forever home. Word of mouth between friends, people at work etc always helps too. Good luck!

You can place them up for adoption on the certified ads section of petfinder ( http://www.petfinder.com ).
Definitely charge an adoption fee though - you have to make sure whoever adopts them is serious about caring for them. We have an application process and an adoption contract. We check references, a vet reference, and they have to prove they own their own home, or prove they're allowed to have pets if a rental.
Don't want kitties being abandoned again....

Petfinder is a great one, and I've had a lot of luck with Craigslist too. Just be careful, especially with Craigslist. I always had an application for people to fill out and then had them sign a contract at the time of adoption.
I have run ads on craigslist. What real replys I get are just OUT THERE! I have been running ads in south/central/and south jersey. A few have gotten replys of do you have any kittens for adoption? but far as the cats no go. The ones I am trying to place would do fine inside or out(hate the idea but the ones I am placing originally came from the outside).
Petfinder I am going to try again. I have no problems bringing a cat to its new home if all is ok or meeting person. This is why I never have issue taking a kitten but the older cats just don't adapt for the most part to many other cats. I feel torn but Iknow for sure 3 I just took in were to be left behind intact. Thanks everyone

I don't know, but I always just enjoyed my fosters so much that I would talk to anyone who would listen to me about them. Then eventually someone would come up and say, "Well I know that so-and-so is looking for a cat" or "Oh my gosh they sound like a wonderful kitty! Would you be willing to part with them???" Or signs... signs around the neighborhood help. Especially vet offices.
