Morning folks and Happy Friday!

Off to work in a few, and then tonight going to a friends house to have a girls night..a little drinking and a sleepover. Should be good because I don't normally drink

DH is gone for the weekend so I am figuring out what to do with myself. Will likely get together with my mom on Saturday, and then I have a baby shower on Sunday!

Morning all!

It's a beautiful day here! The sun is shining, it's mild and wonderful. Too bad I'm at work huh?

Today is my Nan's birthday so the family is getting together this evening to visit with her and wish her a happy birthday. Then I think it'll be a nice, relaxing night. Maybe I'll curl up with my hunny, watch a movie and maybe have a margarita or two.

Morning,

I'm glad it's Friday. This is my first full week on the job, so I'm still struggling to get used to the schedule. It will be really nice to sleep in tomorrow. I should have my 40 hours in by a little after 4 today, so I'll probably take off a little early. Hopefully I can get some good work done between now and then. After work, I'm going to stop by the gym and hit the weights.

I don't have any big plans tonight. I think I'll just try to clean up the apartment some and then maybe watch a movie with my neighbor. I'm going to get together with some friends for a cookout on Sunday, and I may go out on a date on Saturday. Other than that, I'm going to relax and enjoy my weekend as much as possible. Everybody have a good Friday!

Well another rainy friday. No another week without being able to do some (really yucky) landscape maintenance at my big commercial account. I could try but I would get really muddy!

I did finally order my laptop this morning!! Its an HP G642t series. Hopefully I should have this my the end of the month.

So that I cannot work outside I should really get motivated and do some cleaning/picking up etc around the house.

Perhaps I will do to video store later and rent some movies for tonite.

The cats are -bobbs is sleeping and I think Bender finally settled down. He gets frustrated he can't do his walkabout the yard when it rains. I think grizzly finds the driest spot under the eaves and sits outside. Bakker was all wet so he was somewhere this morning when I let him out.

Good morning

Currently at work, already finished for the day! Waiting on hubby to get me for lunch, so hungry! After I come back, I'll probably do a few little things at work to pass some time before heading to the beach to try and work on my tan until its time to pick him up from work.

Let's see how well my goal of being tanned and more toned in 5½ weeks goes.

For once, I don't have too busy of a weekend ahead!

I'm singing tonight at a gig at my church. It's an evening of prose, poetry and song - as we have lots of talented people at my church. Our band is having a "girl singer" night - featuring the women in the band. I'm singing a Mary Chapin Carpenter song. It should be a fun evening.

Then going to a memorial on Saturday night - the guy who took my headshots died suddenly a few months ago. We also worked together at my part-time job. People who were involved in a theatre with him are throwing a memorial get-together tomorrow night.

Then Sunday it's church in the morning and a Tony Awards party on Sunday night.

Morning, happy Friday!

The sun is almost peeking out a bit here, still damp though. I woke up late today at 9!! I get up when BF leaves for work, which is usually closer to 8, but today he got up early to watch the Mexico vs. South Africa World Cup game and went in to work late. I was so soundly asleep when he woke me up to say goodbye, it really shook me up!

So here it is an hour later and I still haven't done anything noteworthy. Lazy lazy. After I post this it will be shower time, then off to the grocery store for ingredients to make spinach-onion-feta stuffed mushrooms

for a World Cup party tomorrow. I last made them for xmas and I can't wait to have them again! Yeah, we'll all be ganging up on my BF who is from England.

So yes, cooking and shopping today, and probably a quiet night in with a DVD tonight since the party is early tomorrow for the game at 11:30AM.
