I thought I would share with you all pictures of my current fosters.
This is Casey. She was a stray who found herself pregnant and in need of someone to help her out. She gave birth to a single male kitten in my foster room May 7th. She is a great Mom and very affectionate with humans, but she HATES other cats. I learned this the hard way when I was attacked badly by her during a displaced aggression episode in which she saw another foster cat. A tetnus shot and antibiotics later, and I suppose I'll live. As you can see from the chunk missing out of her ear, she's been in a scuffle or two in her time
This is her adorable, sweet, playful, PRECIOUS little boy kitten named Cousy. He developed a bad upper resp. infection shortly after birth and is just now starting to recover from the associated eye infection. Because of this, we are fairly certain Cousy is blind, although we are not 100% sure. We are waiting for his next vet appointment to find out for sure but he doesn't really look at us and he doesn't follow our finger or movements much at all.
He is an active, typical kitten in every other way though and I adore him! He just had his eye ointment treatment here before these pics were taken. He will be 5 weeks old tomorrow.
This is Olive (As in Black Olive
). She is also in our care recovering from the upper resp. infection that is rampant in our local shelter.
She is doing SO much better now though!
She is recovering in our bedroom as she can not be in the foster room thanks to Casey's hate of other cats.
She is a real love bug, always wanting to cuddle and she LOVES to lick! She would lick us for hours if we let her.
Please send vibes that we are able to find all of these sweethearts wonderful forever homes when their time comes!
