I thought I would share with you all pictures of my current fosters.

This is Casey. She was a stray who found herself pregnant and in need of someone to help her out. She gave birth to a single male kitten in my foster room May 7th. She is a great Mom and very affectionate with humans, but she HATES other cats. I learned this the hard way when I was attacked badly by her during a displaced aggression episode in which she saw another foster cat. A tetnus shot and antibiotics later, and I suppose I'll live. As you can see from the chunk missing out of her ear, she's been in a scuffle or two in her time

This is her adorable, sweet, playful, PRECIOUS little boy kitten named Cousy. He developed a bad upper resp. infection shortly after birth and is just now starting to recover from the associated eye infection. Because of this, we are fairly certain Cousy is blind, although we are not 100% sure. We are waiting for his next vet appointment to find out for sure but he doesn't really look at us and he doesn't follow our finger or movements much at all.
He is an active, typical kitten in every other way though and I adore him! He just had his eye ointment treatment here before these pics were taken. He will be 5 weeks old tomorrow.

This is Olive (As in Black Olive
). She is also in our care recovering from the upper resp. infection that is rampant in our local shelter.
She is doing SO much better now though!
She is recovering in our bedroom as she can not be in the foster room thanks to Casey's hate of other cats.
She is a real love bug, always wanting to cuddle and she LOVES to lick! She would lick us for hours if we let her.

Please send vibes that we are able to find all of these sweethearts wonderful forever homes when their time comes!

Wow, what gorgeous kitties!!!
Olive's eyes are so intense! And Casey's face is super cute too, and little fluffy Cousy!!! Poor thing, I hope his eyes turn out ok. Thanks for taking care of them!

That little grey kitten is such a cutie!

I hope you get good news about his eyesight, although I've heard many stories of blind cats getting along just fine with the proper care.

All your fosters are so cute, and I especially love Ms. Olive. Good luck in finding them all forever homes (and hopefully Cousy can retain some eyesight).

Gosh, Kailee, I wondered where've been. Busy with fosters, I see! I figured your new promotion was keeping you off this site.

Your fosters' are precious.

Yep, between those two things I've been crazy busy!

I have good news all! Little Cousy already has a forever home waiting for him! A woman I work with called a friend of her's today and told her about Cousy. This friend has recently lost her beloved kitty of 17 years and she is ready to adopt another. Well she fell in love with his pictures and even more in love with his story. She doesn't care at all if he IS blind and is going to the shelter tomorrow to fill out the application!! I'm thrilled!

Bless your heart for always taking in kitties in need...

Casey is a very lovely girl. It's a shame she is so aggressive toward other cats. Hopefully, you'll be able to find her a home without other kitties where she can be spoiled and loved on -- poor girl, with that previously injured ear, she deserves a great home. Cousy (how do you pronounce that?!) is super-duper cute. What a little fuzz-butt he is! I'm sure he'll have no problem finding the perfect home as soon as he's old enough (unless you're planning on keeping him...it sounds like you're smitten with him). Blind or not, he has a happy, healthy life ahead of him. And, Olive is a very beautiful black kitty. She also looks sweet-as-pie. So, hopefully, she'll also be able to find a new, forever home quickly.

Many, many vibes coming your way that these kitties find their "purrfect" homes as soon as possible!

Alison, Cousy is pronounced "Koozie".
He's named after Marco Cousineau, a goal tender for the Saint John Sea Dogs, my favorite Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team. He was born on the night where the Sea Dogs won a very important game, which is why I named him Cousy.
He already has a forever home waiting for him!
