My brother is so dear - he's come across a very scared, young kitten near a hospital job site in Morgan City, Louisiana. It doesn't run from people, but won't let anyone catch it - sounds to me like a kitten who got dumped off

But anyway, we need prayers, vibes, candles, anything to help, that my brother and/or the hospital staff find a cat rescue who can trap the kitten and get it sheltered and hopefully adopted out. He's gone to the store to buy some canned food and hopefully KMR to leave out (it lapped water) for it tonight. He only is in town till Fri am, then he flies home for the weekend so the kitten has at least a day or so of someone trying to help it - it's a fluffly, white with gray baby.
And since my brother is a great guy - 6'2", about 180#, 40s, never been married, occasional light social drinker, great job, really entertaining with a great sense of humor, good job, owns 5 acres & a house in TN, really respects women, looks good, stays in shape, drives NASCAR mini-cup, loves airplanes, dogs and cats, plays the trumpet, sax & electric guitar, can ride a horse and is so AWESOME to my sis & me, and all his nieces, I'd LOVE for him to meet a really special girl while he's trying to help this kitten.....is that too much

And, oh boy, I hope he doesn't check out this site

Well maybe you'll just have to post a picture of him...you know, for those of us not in Louisiana!

Poor baby! (the kitten, not your brother
) I hope he'll trust someone enough to let himself be caught (again, the kitten; not your brother)

I was hoping you'd ask
.
I think I forgot to mention that he enjoys hockey games so much, he took lessons, bought the gear & joined a city league team

Here he is after a game:

As for the kitten, my brother met up with a rescuer who brought a friend and they tried to grab the kitten, but it ran off to the main parking lot
So, he flies back to TN early tomorrow am, but the rescuer is bringing down her trap & will set it up tonight in the same brushy area where he has been feeding the kitten, in hopes that it returns to that spot.

I love the innuendo
Yes, I am hoping and praying that the kitten gets rescued soon although the locals there have some serious issues on their minds. Apparently, this area is traumatized by the oil spill. My brother says there are 2 main ways to make a living there - on the oil rigs or in the seafood industry. He says its depressing to see the people who are in town, with no job to go to anymore - he says it's like being in a disaster area (he's survived 5 tornadoes. Remember the downtown Nashville tornado? well, he went between his desk & the wall, but his secretary & others heard the train-like sound & ran to the window, and the poor girl's face was shredded to the bones
. He was uninjured, except for some minor glass cuts. He also got caught in the Nashville rainstorm a couple of weeks back. No major earthquakes, tho.).....
am I starting to sound like a proud, big sis yet

Your brother certainly leads an exciting life; it would take quite a woman to keep up with him!

Yes, you are; sounds like you have every right to be

Hoping the kitten will allow itself to be rescued.
