I never seem to have the camera handy to take video when he does this, but my mother managed to catch it on her camera phone sometime yesterday. He does this several times a day, sometimes for 10-15 mins at a time.

The video sums Jack up perfectly. This little guy just doesn't stop! About 20 mins ago, Jack and I finished up an intense 15-minute Da Bird session that only ended when he started panting from exertion. As of right now, guess who's right back to sitting in front of the Da Bird drawer, begging for more?

OMG Jack is so funny!

I see he has one of those gosh-darn-tails-that-must-be-chased too.
Annie has one of those. Thankfully she has calmed down a little - she used to chase her tail around a pole that was horizontal, so she was spinning vertically.
We didn't get video either, we were too busy getting ready to catch her. But she does spot that gosh-darn-tails-that-must-be-chased a couple times a day still. It just comes out of no-where!

One thing's for sure though, neither Jack or Annie are ever without a toy as long as that tail keeps following them.

Man is he full of energy!!!! My Ghostie at age 2 to 3 still chases his tail sometimes, but then, he is an eccentric lil guy.

That is SO CUTE! Thank you for sharing it! And Jack has a Tail worth Chasing!

Mazy cat Chases her Tail, but only in Private. I'll never be able to get a video of it because if she thinks I am watching she will stop.

You know, one of the first things we noticed about Jack was his tail - he really does have a "Super-Size" extra-long tail, just PERFECT for chasing! Sophie will occasionally chase her tail as well (usually if its shadow catches her eye on the ground), but she's less predictable and therefore even harder to catch on film.

I can't help but wonder sometimes if he was surrendered to the shelter because his former owners couldn't handle his energy. All I can say is, their loss is our gain!
