They are little monsters! They run all over the house, attack the dogs and the other cats, climb everything (including the curtains).

They are Adorable. It is something to watch them running around and playing. Here are some pictures:

I'm actually kind of scared for this stage because leg climbing isn't something I'm found of.
Where did you get that little pen? It looks really neat to contain them for a bit. How has Baby Girl adapted to their new independence? Is she still nursing and very protective?

I got the pen at Petsmart. It's an "LG Clean Living Playpen". It was $39.00. I put the kittens in there at night and when we leave the house. Baby Girl can jump up onto the table next to it to get in and out but the kittens can't get out (we put the door on when we lock them in). Baby Girl is still nursing them, she not very fond of us feeding them. She's not as protective but she still comes running if they cry.

she was too scared of me to even go near me, much less climb my leg or anything like that

OMG SO CUTE! I've never had a kitten younger than 6 weeks so I'm excited for Rosie to have her babies

The waiting was horrible. Lol. The last week of their pregnancy is the worst. You know it's coming but you don't know when.

At that age, you might as well turn off the TV and just be entertained by the little monsters. They'll get over it soon enough, and you'll miss it.

I know. Lol. They are so fun to watch. It's going to be awful when it's time to give them up.

When they were 2 weeks would they come up to you and meow at you when you talked to them? I've got mine convinced I'm their mom too so they need to come up and talk to me when I go in there.
I think 3 weeks is going to be a lot of fun and yeah very hard to give them up.

So far these kittens aren't very vocal (mama never has been very vocal either). They will call for mama and screech if one gets to rough during play. They didn't come out of their nest until around the 4th week. Now they just run everywhere. They will climb onto the couch and sleep next to you while you are watching TV.

Mine have started exploring already and climbing out to come to me. Mine are all very vocal but Carly is very vocal. I swear she's part Siamese. I think I'm going to have my hands full with them all later on.

Baby Girl was very protective of them. She didn't want them out of the nest, I had to start taking them out for short periods of times to get her used to it. Now she lets them run and leaves it to us to chase them and watch them. Lol. She still comes running when they cry and through the day when we are here they will sleep in different places so she will go wake one up and feed it then she goes to the next one and the next. Other times she'll call them and try to get them all to settle down for a feeding. Baby Girl is finally getting better with me feeding the kittens. I think she finally figured out it helps take some of the load off of her. Lol. She still stimulates them to potty and now 2 of my male cats are stimulating them to potty too. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get them to go on their own. These kittens are spoiled something awful. From us, the other cats, the dogs, and their mama. Lol.

While Carly is still protective of them when they cry, if they aren't crying she doesn't fuss when we hold them or take them out of the nest. She's finally starting to take care of her own needs first. I am glad because she used to wait until they were all settled before she'd eat or take care of her potty needs. Now if she's hungry and they are hungry she'll go eat and let them wander around the nest even if some of them cry for her. Mama has to take care of mama or there is no milk for the kitties. I think she'll be thrilled when I introduce them to wet food. She'll probably eat it right along with them but it's hard to predict cat behaviors.

Baby Girl didn't really want us to pick up her babies. Lol. She didn't want to share them.

They are such cute kittens!! My kitties were basically momma-less, so they think I am momma, they cry when I enter the room, and climb my leg. They are 11 weeks now though, but still do it! I love watching the kitties play, they are so fun! Are you keeping any of your kittens?

These little monsters climb our legs too. Lol. I would love to keep them all but it's just not possible. I might keep one. I want a black cat and I have one now. But Baby Girl's favorite is the gray boy. The tabby is just adorable and they are all so sweet. So if I keep one I don't know which one I'd choose. I just adore them all. Lol.

Yeah. But all cats are different. That's what makes them so unique.
