Any Tips On Keeping Black Cats Coat Shiny?

Hi this may belong in the health forum if so i'm sorry. I feed Fluffy a very good pet food but what else can i do to give his coat a beautiful shine? Being black when your coat goes dull easy

I was going to say maybe i could do that but i wasn't sure if it was safe or if it would affect the nutrients in his other food.

I used to own a black cat and I didn't have to do anything special to keep her coat in good condition besides feeding her a good diet and giving her regular grooming.

You can see how beautifully her coat shone in this picture.

I feed him Royal Canin which is supposed to be very good. Maybe its because he's long haired or because he's still a kitten?

Kitten fur rarely shines. By the time they are 6-7 months old the adult coat should have started to show.

There are special shampoos that you can buy to deepen the color and add shine.

Lorie your kitty is just beautiful and shiney!

sebastion is black and he is sooooooooooooo shiney!!! I asked the vet what he was feeding him and he said purina kitten chow
