A Trio

Thread Starter
Mt wife (#3 and the last one I promise), and I both love animals. We have three cats and two German Shepherds. We both have had cats and dogs most of our adult lives. We both have only adopted rescue animals, and I'm sure they know it.

The first cat is named Sam. She is about 9 yrs old and was a member of our daughters family. They were relocated (military), and couldn't take her. She's was about 3 when we took her in.

She responds when called and is a bunky buddy. She will crawl under the covers and curl up tight and purr away. She rules the other two, but with minimal actions. They know who is the boss.

This cat is named Mandy, and was a rescue from animal control. By all indicators she appears to be a Lynx Point Siamese. She is about 5 yrs old now (about 4 months in the picture). She craves attention and loves her face rubbed. She can be a real terror when it comes time to cut her nails. She doesn't like her feet touched.
.

.
And last but not least is our only male, named Casper. He was rescued at 10 weeks and is a woose. He is a kitten in this picture. He gets pounced on by Mandy most all the time. He will chase the other two around the house, until they stop and turn around. He is a licker when petted, and is the first one of the three to let us know when it's time to eat. All three are indoor cats and have their claws.

Welcome to TCS!

You and your wife certainly have very beautiful kitties (and I'm sure your GSD's are gorgeous as well -- feel free to post pics of them also). As soon as I saw Sam, I was in love . She is very striking. Really, she is such a pretty girl. And, I love her markings. Your second girl, Mandy, looks like she has some cattitude about her. Even as a kitten, you can tell she's trouble. I definitely see the "terror" in her! And, little Casper. What a cutie patootie. White kitties are so special and he just melts my heart. I have 3 females and one male and, so, my boy, Finn, knows how Casper must feel with all those girls around. It's no wonder he chases them about! But, little boys can be sensitive too and it looks like he's as sweet as they come.

Please continue to share pictures and stories about your kitties and pups. I look forward to getting to know you around the forums. Welcome again!
