Mt wife (#3 and the last one I promise), and I both love animals. We have three cats and two German Shepherds. We both have had cats and dogs most of our adult lives. We both have only adopted rescue animals, and I'm sure they know it.
The first cat is named Sam. She is about 9 yrs old and was a member of our daughters family. They were relocated (military), and couldn't take her. She's was about 3 when we took her in.
She responds when called and is a bunky buddy. She will crawl under the covers and curl up tight and purr away. She rules the other two, but with minimal actions. They know who is the boss.
.
.
This cat is named Mandy, and was a rescue from animal control. By all indicators she appears to be a Lynx Point Siamese. She is about 5 yrs old now (about 4 months in the picture). She craves attention and loves her face rubbed. She can be a real terror when it comes time to cut her nails. She doesn't like her feet touched.
.
.
And last but not least is our only male, named Casper. He was rescued at 10 weeks and is a woose. He is a kitten in this picture. He gets pounced on by Mandy most all the time. He will chase the other two around the house, until they stop and turn around. He is a licker when petted, and is the first one of the three to let us know when it's time to eat. All three are indoor cats and have their claws.
