Morning friends!

Well, it's Monday again...off to work in a few. We get to wear jeans all week if we pay $12.50. Some sort of fundraiser, but it works for me because I love jeans!

I think my friend and I are headed back to the gym tonight, we have been slacking a tad lately.

Not much else going on...I hope you all have a good day. It will be sunny but chilly here today.

I love wearing jeans to work! We're only allowed to wear them on Fridays, unless we have to go out somewhere to inspect a facility or a detention basin. Other than that, casual dress is expected....and I hate casual dress. I'm such a jeans person.

Thanks for the rain! But.....um......could you send a little more please? We ended up with about 1/10 of an inch yesterday morning. That was it. (Greedy? Who me? Why no, why do you ask?)

Grocery shopping tonight. And that's pretty much it.

Have a date with my garden today as it needs major weeding. We got a ton of rain on the weekend and its so much cooler today. Today is our oldest grandaughters 11th birthday and we can't believe it. Have a good Monday everyone.

Oh man, not me. I'd rather wear a nice pair of khakis over jeans any day. They looser and they're not as hot. I like jeans in the winter when it's cold out, but I want nothing to do with them during the summer. It's kind of ironic because jeans are perfectly OK here. I had to meet up with a person I had never dealt with face to face the other day and he described himself as wearing "jeans and tennis shoes." There must have been 10 people with jeans and tennis shoes who walked by before my guy showed up.

As for me, nothing too exciting going on today. I'll be working on a couple of different projects. They're interesting, but not extremely exciting. I also need to try to make a few phone calls and start catching up on some things I've been putting off. I need to find a real estate agent to start looking for a new house and I also need to schedule a cleaning at the dentist. I've been putting the cleaning off until I had dental insurance, so now I'm ready. After work, I'll go by the gym for an hour or so. I haven't decided whether I want to do weights or cardio today. I'll probably see what machines are open when I go in there and base my decision on that.

Morning, cloudy/hazy/cool/damp/humid this morning as usual. It really screws with my head because I think it's a cloudy cool day, but in a few hours it will turn sunny and warmer and then the apartment will get hot, even if it's only in the 70s outside. Anyway... no complaining allowed, SoCal weather is just kind of all-around awesome.

So I spent my morning cleaning for the past 2 hours. Lots of dishes from yesterday that I just couldn't be bothered to do last night. Vacuuming the apartment. Dusting the bedroom, which resulted in me knocking over and breaking a small snowglobe. What a mess!!! I never broke one before, and I hope I never do again, glass and insides went all over my nightstand!! Thank goodness it was a tiny one. I don't know what the qiquid inside those things is, but it smelled bad, and either it or the glitter or tiny glass bits are still stinging my fingers a bit, after several washes.

Oops I started typing this almost an hour ago and I guess started doing something else without posting. Duh.
