I switched from authority canned to Avoderm select cuts: chicken chunks and tuna and crab meat in gravy, though I might add more variety...
But I'm curious if it's really the best option for the price??
A 3 oz can is $1 at pets mart..
ingredients are for chicken chunks are
Chicken, Chicken Broth, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Guar Gum, Tricalcium Phosphate, Avocado Oil, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin, Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12), Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate, Copper Proteinate, Sodium Selenite, Potassium Iodide), Carrageenan, Choline Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Taurine
and for tuna and crab meat:
Tuna, Tuna Broth, Crab Meat, Sunflower Oil, Tapioca Starch, Tricalcium Phosphate, Guar Gum, Avocado Oil, Potassium Chloride, Taurine, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin, Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12), Minerals (Zinc Oxide, Ferrous Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Calcium Iodide, Sodium Selenite), Carrageenan.
Okay...so what do you think?? Would you feed these foods or would you rather feed something else??
Jake gets 3 cans (210 calories) and 1/8 of a cup of dry food per day (50 calories) which is about the amount of calories the vet recommends I feed him.
ETA: he ate avoderm at one point but he had the non grain free chicken canned food
