Oh, my goodness - that Faith puppy is a hero! And those poor puppies, and the poor family - I can't imagine what the mother must have been going through, between the bees getting in the house, and knowing the dogs were right outside. Lots of prayers that everyone makes it through ok.

Aww, that is such a wonderful story. (And by wonderful, I am referring to Faith protecting those puppies from the bees!!) The 4 that are at the vet probably wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for her.

Oh, yes. They are nasty buggers. Also called Africanized bees. Brought to South America to help increase honey production. Instead they have killed off/overwhelmed indigenious and European honey bee colonies and have steadily marched northward.

They are aggressive with a capital A. You get one warning and if you don't get it and get out... you get swarmed.

Touching isn't it? Most humans sometimes just take them for granted, they didn't know that even dogs can make a difference!
