My cat (Baby Girl) had kittens almost 5 weeks ago. I have started giving them wet kitten food trying to start the weaning process. How much canned food should I give the kittens to eat? How often should I give it? They are still nursing from their mama, too.

Remember their tummies are small and they cannot eat a lot at once. When first giving them canned food I would put 2-3 spoonfuls of canned food mixed with KMR and warm water and mix it all together. Then put it on a shallow plate and line up the kittens around the plate and let them eat what they wanted. As they grow, you increase the food and provide some dry to nibble on in a bowl.

I would give them this 3 times a day for the first few months and then switch to 2x a day after 4 or 5 months old.

These are new pictures.

They are little monsters!! They run all over the place, attack the dogs and the other cats, climb the curtains, and etc. They are adorable, I love them sooo much. Lol.
