Our kittens are just under 2 weeks but two of them have very sharp nails at this point that scratch not only us but each other. One of them left a scratch that had a scab on one of the other kittens so I want to clip them. Can I use baby nail clippers to cut their nails so that they don't scratch each other and us? It's hard to hold them when they are clawing you.

Yes but be careful and only take the tiny sharp tip off. I usually start nippnig nails (with fingernail clippers) at 5 weeks old. I know what you mean! You only need to do the front for now till they are about 2 months old.

Sounds good. I will be very careful and we will just do the tips. Only 2 of the kittens have this problem so I'm not even going to mess with the others until their nails are harder and causing the same issues. Thanks!

I definatly know what you mean! You can also buy special clippers just for animal nails that are a litter easier to use(I got mine for under 5$), but reguler clippers work well too. Just be VERY careful since their nails are so tiny. You can't hit the little pink part inside.
