So as per my Stray Thread, we've brought Charlie inside, he was isolated in the bedroom for a week, then I put up 2 baby gates so he could see the other boys then the next day he asked to come out. He's been free range in the house with the other 2 for 1 week now!
I'm excited (and thankful!!) introductions have gone so well because from all the hissing and growling Charlie did at the boys when he was an outside stray I was certain some fur would be flung! lol
Well this is them a week after introductions, all catnipped out!
L-R Charlie, Murphy, Winston.
They get better with each other each day. They are getting to the point where they all want to chase and play together but still are not sure of each other. For instance Charlie went to pounce Winston playfully and Winston near on passed out! Then Murphy when all 'night crazies' on Charlie and poor Charlie nearly evaporated in mid air
I think they'll get there in the end!
OH! My 8 month old discovered a week ago Sunday that she could crawl, much to her delight she can now chase these animated fluffy toys (albeit at a slow pace!) and much to the disgust and mortified boys that this mini human creature can now get around
Her little face just completely lights up when she sees them, she almost bursts with excitement and lets out a loud sequel!
Just look at the smile on her face vs the OMG faces/body language of the boys haha. Lucky they move a lot faster than her
Murphy not looking impressed
Winston and a very happy baby girl!
RUN CHARLIE!!
Winston and Murphy have always been gentle cats and never get their claws out, even in play .. I was a bit cautious with Charlie at first, not sure how he'd be with a baby, but he is just the same as the other two and is just as nice to her. Breaks my heart to think anyone could have ever dumped him. He licked her hand the other day, she almost floated away with giggling
