Dexter (my puppy) was barking like crazy today and I went to the door to figure out why. There was a puppy outside the door just looking in. I recognized the puppy from the building beside mine because Dexter always tries to go over there when we are outside. They live in the corner apartment which is right near where I take Dexter out.
I went outside and it ran away from me. I didn't want it to run out onto the street or run away so I grabbed my shoes and a leash and went outside. All I had to say was "come here" and the puppy came right over. It kept licking me while I was trying to put the leash on it. I was almost to the back of the parking lot (the easiest way to get to the next building) when the owner came over and thanked me and said he wasn't sure how he got out.
I managed to get a picture.
