Ok, why?

I really don't know why my cats do this. I woke up the past two morning, their food bowl is full, yet they knock over there bag of food and rip it and tear it until it spills on the floor and eat that. Their food dish is FULL! It's not just these past two morning, they do it quite a bit. It isn't a big deal, I just don't really understand!

They do it because they can! Tearing into a bag and scattering food is FUN! Better put the bag away.

LOL, they're little monster kitties!! I bought a new bag of cat food today, put it on the kitchen table and went outside to get the groceries. I come back in and Cammy is on the table biting and clawing at it! I'm like "You HAVE food!" It's funny though.

I agree with Otto - it's a game. It's no FUN to just eat it out of the bowl!

No, it must not be. When Abbey eats, she walks up to the bowl and knocks a bunch of kibble out and eats it off the floor!

Oh, my little monsters.

Because they are cats and think it more fun to make a mess for you to clean up????

Haven't had a cat yet that wouldn't do this if given the opportunity. If you don't have a cabinet to shut it away into, get a large storage container that will hold the new bags - just remember that if the plastic isn't food grade that you want to keep the food inside the bags.

It tastes better fresh out of the bag.

Maybe they are "hunting" it!

At least it's big kibbles. I came home one day to see Jack shredding open a bag of litter.........and it's so fine it's like sand!!
