My T-fal iron I guess has fallen off the ironing board one too many times!

So I switched back to an oldie-its got a metal iron face and its heavy but its still trudging along!.

I've had a couple of Rowenta's but for what one pays for them they sure didn't last long (less than 1 year).

This would be used for general ironing and sewing purposes. Price isn't a big concern.

I would love to be able to help you, but as I don't use my iron very often, I can't vouch for its durability!

I have a light weight Proctor-Silex Easy Press that I have had for 13 years!!!!!!!!!!! I iron my uniforms every week and every cat I've ever had had knocked it on the floor plenty of times. I bought for $10.00 at a Family Dollar store when I got my job.

I bought a Sunbeam as that is the brand of my old back-up iron. I figure if that's been good for all these years perhaps a new one will be as well.

My advice is be sure to get one that turns off automatically. Then you won't get somehwere else and worry about if you turned off the iron.
