My kitten, Faye's favorite place to take a nap during the day time is my computer keyboard, preferably when I am using it. Dora particularly enjoys the use of my neck as a body pillow at night, effectively immobilizing me. Where do your cats like to sleep that might not be as convenient for you?

While watching TV, any of my 9 will decide to nap on my feet. I can't stand up anymore!!!

Aya will pick any random moment while I am seated either at the sofa or in front of the computer and decide that now's the time to camp out in the crotch! Particualrly when I am about to get up, am sewing (I put my machine in front of the sofa) or need to use the B-room. How she can read minds like that I have no idea. It seems to be a conspiracy to get us to pay attention to them. 'You is cat-slave,... muah ha ha...'

Haha, aren't cats wonderful? Lennon thinks he is a parrot. He always wants to be on my shoulder, and will even walk around that way. If I am leaned over the bed hunting for fleas on Ringo (Oh the joy!) he will crawl on my back and curl up for a nap. It is like, really, you think I'm going to stay this way?

Ringo doesn't really hold still long enough to be inconvenient. He is inconvenient in more creative ways. Such as now, he is sitting behind my monitor (laptop, laying in bed) and swatting at my hands as I type. He thinks it is the BEST game ever. Silly boys!

Holland LOVES to sit on my laptop, especially when I'm doing schoolwork.
I can give her attention and play with her for an hour, but god forbid I try to get something productive done.

I was reading one of my ebooks for class yesterday, and Holland somehow turned on the audio reader, so all of a sudden I'm petting my cat (sitting on my keyboard) and this robotic voice starts telling me how to make charts in Excel...

If I get up for even a second from the couch/bed/wherever all 3 of mine are seat stealers.

But Harvey gets the prize for inconvenient spots. He likes to sleep stretched against the front door which makes coming in or going out very difficult.

I had a cat, Baby, that used to sleep on my head. Seriously. I'd lay down and she'd come up to my pillow, kneed at my head, then curl around it and pass out! She was so weird, LOL!

The girls aren't too bad, although sometimes, when I'm laying on my stomach at night, Rosalie will sleep on the back of my thighs, using my butt as a pillow, and I wont be able to turn over. OYE!

STEPS!!!! argh even taught my dog to do the same-hes 40 lbs. The cats will all line up and enjoy being there-have a house fan and I think they love the breeze. With this many cats its quite hard to pass them.
Or the sneak and attack-I go to kitchen no cats wash some dishes turn around and theres a couple RIGHT behind.

Hello all! This is my first post here.

My cat Moses loves to STAND on my lap whenever I'm working on the computer. I can't seem to get him to realize that he's in the way... LOL.

I end up with my arms sort of wrapped around him (trying to type at same time) while he just stands and looks around the room. It's really strange.

Sometimes (very rarely) he will try to sit but mostly he just stands there. LOL...

3 of mine will locate the most uncomfortable spot on my back, legs, or hip and will lay there and knead with unsheathed claws. Scooter is particularly skilled at this, and if I try to move him, he howls and rolls along until I have to dump him off.

The other night I was in bed and Holland decided to lay on my chest and knead my boobs. The good news is that I had just trimmed her claws that day. It was still pretty uncomfortable, though...

Newt has to be on my lap. I have a laptop which is never allowed to be on my lap as that is her place. As I type this I have the laptop on a cushion next to me & Newt is happily, comfortably curled up in my lap asleep while I am twisted round trying to type. To be fair, it's no competition - the laptop doesn't stand a chance! The thing is I feel really bad about disturbing her & I'd really like a cup of tea.....
