I am so not happy right now. NYSEG really stinks they really really do. I had an amount budgeted out and they ad 35 to my bill!! SO there went my neuter money which is due by tomorrow. I cannot leave him unaltered much longer I am so TIRED of being sprayed...

Unfortunately it may be too late to change bad behaviors. You should neuter your male cat BEFORE he reaches sexual maturity. There are low cost spay/neuter clinics in every state and nearly every town. You can eat baloney sandwiches for awhile until you have the $35-$45 charged at most low cost clinics. But I worry that it may be too late to change his spraying behavior.

This may seem harsh, but arranging for neutering should have been a priority when you first decided to adopt a kitten. It is part of the package of pet ownership, like regular vet care and food. Also spayed and neutered animals make better pets and live longer than intact ones.

first off, i had the money but my nyseg comes first. I am a veteran and live off VA benefits. SO therefore I qualified for the $40 neuter but nyseg is a PITA.

I just got off the phone with my mom and step dad. They are goin to let me borrow the money!! I have a nice tank up for sale and hopefully somebody will want to scarf that up-older slate bottom tank in excellent condition no cracks or anything so it should go fast. When something likes this comes up-i have back up plans usually. I am just so fed up with nyseg...2 months ago they got $500 from me and they sent me a shut off notice 2 wks later for another $500 which i paid but they keep sending me stupid notices even when they've been paid.

I'm also look for a job so hopefully that goes into place-due to economic issues i was laid off in 2007 from TRW

I agree he may never stop spraying now.
My brothers cat was altered but he will not stop spraying.
It is not your fault it happens sometimes.
