Hi all,
sorry I haven't been on a while, we are (fingers, arms, toes and everything else crossed) moving saturday
We have been exchangin a few bits and bobs already to try and get some of the smaller bits and bobs out of the way. We have been so busy and the kitties definetely know something is going on as they have all been hyperactive
I think I have a good plan, I have 5 cat carriers and have a designated room for them at the new house for them. There will be alot going on so I want to keep stress levels for them down to a minimum (even though mine will be through the roof
) I can't wait to go and will not be sorry to see the back of our neighbours. I ahve had a bit of a say myself to them as I am sick of it all and all the 2 facedness. Also have took to waving and smiling when they are nosying out of their blinds to see what we are on with and it seems to have worked as they have been shutting them when we do that

I feel happy now and even though we have alot of work to do it will be worth it, I miss it on here like mad but I have already sorted internet out for the new house
x

I'm tickled for you! Having neighbors like that can make you miserable. Hope the move goes smoothly and the kitties adjust quickly.

Good luck!

We did the same thing - we moved everything that needed to go into that room first, sprayed it with Feliway, put a lot of their kitty beds in there (so it smelled like them), their litter boxes, food, water, their toys... and dumped the bedding (without washing it) in a pile on the bed, then let the kitties out in that room (also gave them a lot of hidey places. We then closed the door with a big DO NOT OPEN!!!!!!!!!!! sign on it so the people helping us would not accidentally let any of them out. That way we didn't have to worry at all about the doors of the house being open while stuff was being moved.

Thats basically what I am doing. I am just
at the minute, the family who are swapping with us were round here today bringin some of their stuff and the awful neighbours were out, she was grinning as if to say ha you are going we have won but she soon went inside after the new lady started talking about people annoying her and she she doesn't take kindly to it and won't hesitate to use a baseball bat!! ooops, lol, she was only joking but of course them next door don't know that and lets put it this way they are not the quietist of people, even our new neighbour said he will be glad of a bit of serenity when she moves and the sooner the better. I know its wrong of me to laugh but them next door deserve it after what they have done to us and put us through. I give them 3 months with her and they will be gone
