He has HCM and threw a blood clot yesterday and may not get better.

Nelson is in good spirits and does not seem to be in any pain at all. He threw a clot in one leg (a thromboembolism) and has been dragging his foot. His paw was ice cold but it seems to be warmer now and he was just hopping to the litter box and seemed to be lifting his leg up a little bit higher. I hope this is a sign that it's getting better and not just my wishful thinking. I'm told it would take about 4 days if it's going to improve.
