Naw - not a cricket - crickets are little... this is a beetle of some sort. Bleck!

ETA: a little googling and I think that is a Stag beetle. Still blech!

Crickets aren't little? the ones I see aren't any way. I rescued one from inside a house just the other day. I know it was a cricket, it was his chirp that led us to him. He was at least an inch long.

Well, that's what my kitties say anyway.
They haven't had a beetle of that size, but Mojo sure loves crunching on the little ones that sneak in the house. Our little exterminator.
