My poor Shrimp!

The doctor just called. I had to give the order to have her euthanized. I am absolutely destroyed. This is my second furbaby this year. I can't take this.

There was just too much damage. Every time they tried something, her trachea would collapse. I had such a good feeling about this and now I'm so devastated.

She's with the angels now. I just wish I could have hugged her one last time.

She was my :an gel:

I am so, so sorry. Shrimp was so lucky to have found you. You gave her several extra years of life and love and don't you forget that. I will keep both of you in my thoughts.

So sorry about that.
I wish they could have helped her.

Oh I am so sorry. I had no idea the surgery was so dangerous. My heart breaks for you and Shrimp. And to lose two of your furbabies in one year is unfathomable. We are all here for you, we've been through the loss you are now feeling, you can talk to us and we won't think you are being silly or that "she was just a cat". We understand your pain.

I was just reading your other thread and had hoped everything was going to work well for her.

RIP, Baby. There's no more pain at the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so sorry for your losses, just feel comfort in the fact that you gave her the best life possible while she was with you, fighting for her until the end.

Thank you so much everyone. I'm glad that I found this site. Everyone here has been so nice. Thank you for your gifts.

It was a tough night. My husband keeps telling me not to beat myself up, because I did everything I could for her and that her last few years were probably the best she ever had. It's still hard. I wasn't ready to let her go so soon, but then again are we ever.

I'm just glad that I still had 2 other furboys to come home to and hug all night.

I am so sorry to hear this.

Sweet little Shrimp please stop by and purr in your mom's ear, let her know you are OK, happy and whole once again.

I agree with your husband and was about to say exactly the same thing. However you feel what you feel, and there isn't anything to do but allow yourself to grieve.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Shrimp but you gave her a wonderful life with you, though it was short, she Chose you and knew you would do right by her.

Aw, I'm so sorry.

Shrimp.

Have you visited our "Crossing the Bridge" section. You might also want to check out www.petloss.com, where you can post a tribute, participate in the Monday night candle ceremony, etc.

Thank You so much. I visited Petloss.com and chatted for awhile and added my babies name to the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you. It made things feel a bit better tonight.
