Morning peeps!

Well, it has cooled off a bit here today thankfully. It was so hot yesterday..over 100F and over 40C. It was nuts!

DH is off school tonight so we are going to have a nice dinner and spend some time together.

I am excited for the weekend!

A bit less hot today here too. I think I will keep the house open today...I want to hear the birds and stuff!

I have to take my cat Arthur to vet this pm for a blood draw to check liver. The vet is at his other office today, in a very busy part of town. I like it when he is out by me in the country. Oh well.

Today is our 4th wedding anniversary so I think I will make DH a rhubarb pie. His favorite.

Happy 4th Anniversary. That seems so long ago for me as later this year will be 34. I love rhubarb pie too and I remember the custard rhubarb pie my grandma made. MMMMMMMM! Good luck st the vets.
Its supposed to rain here later today so that is good. I'm off to my daughters to help her clean house and prepare for my youngest grandaughter's 3rd Birthday party.

Morning....

Back out into the field today, so I get to wear jeans again. Going out with a guy from the soil conservation district to check on some earth-moving projects, just to make sure the plans are being followed. There are a few large buildings that have been constructed, too, so we have to ensure there were plans for these structures. Fun....uh, not too much.

And it's another hot and humid day, which isn't going to be good since I'll be outside until late this afternoon. Ick. T-storms moving in tonight, though, so we'll cool down; I think our Friday highs are to be in the 60s....a 30-degree drop in temps from yesterday and today.

Tequila-lime grilled shrimp with rice pilaf is on our menu for tonight's dinner.

Had a busy day as usual, but i finish in 25, then home to the kids to try them on their new cat food that's just been delivered, then housework

Hot seems to be the theme this week. It's not to bad here yet but a cool down is on it's way for the weekend.

My FIL and Step MIL are arriving for a visit today. DS has been extremely cranky. They always time their visits when he is teething. Just two more teeth and he will be feeling better. Those bottom stomach teeth really bother him.

Nothing else planned for today. Going to take it easy.

Morning...

Cloudy gloomy morning today, not hot here, hasn't been for some days, just coolish to kinda warm. Oh well. I cannot complain, because I have a lovely mild winter when most of the rest of the northern hemisphere is freezing.

So, I've got some work to do today, I might go do that soon actally and get it done with. Then tonight is Hopheads night, we're meeting at a place called The Factory for their Memorial Day weekend IPA Fest. Yum! The only bad part is we have to take 2 buses to get there, or walk 20 minutes to downtown and then take a bus up. But it still beats drinking and driving.
