RIP Chester

A week ago today we had to have Chester put to sleep, he was one of our dogs, on the monday he started having fits, by the time we got him to the vets he had had 6 one after the other, the poor boy was in an awefull state, the vet worked with him for the next 2 days trying to find out what it was, he was on vallium and everytime it started to wear off the fits would start again. We decided that it was probaly something in his brain that he had from birth and with no improuvement the poor dog had no life so the decision was made.

We only had Chester with us for 1 and a half years, before us he had had 4 other homes, he was 3 and a half years old, at least here with us on the farm he had a happy time running free with the other dogs and enjoying life even though it was a short one.

RIP Boy.

RIP Chester

Whatever the first two years of your life were, you found love at last and had some time to enjoy it -- never enough time, of course.

Run happily at the Bridge, Boy.

Poor baby It's nice knowing he had a proper home before he had to pass, but he was far too young
