I don't want to be the only spoilsport, but is something changing in your financial situation soon? As I recall, you can't afford to get all your current cats spayed/neutered right now, and have to take advantage of free rabies vaccine clinics. Having one cat spayed/neutered every month isn't going to work if you run a rescue.
This won't be cheap. The new cats need to be spayed/neutered as soon as you get them, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, de-wormed, and de-fleaed. At my vet it would be around $150-$180 for all of that. Then there's the day to day expenses like food, litter, and urgent vet care. I have 17 cats indoors right now. I think I've learned how to do everything as inexpensively as possible. It costs me $35 a month for litter, $120 a month for food, and of course urgent vet care can't be predicted and it's hard to budget for such things. It seems to cost me an average of $200 every time there's an urgent vet problem. To treat everyone with Advantage during flea season is about $30 a month (since I buy the largest size and split it). Figure around $20 a month per cat for just basic maintenance. And what will you do with all the cats if you have to move again?
"Rescuing" badly is worse than not doing anything at all.
