Morning folks!

Hot and humid here again today. A friend of mine who just had a baby invited me over this week for a swim and to meet the little guy! I might go today because it is darn hot here!

Off to work in a few..and then I think we are playing tennis tonight.

Oh yea, I hear you. Hot and humid here too. Too hot for me! I have the house open to get the cool air in and then will close it up.

Kitties are out in their enclosure while it is cool, but I am sure they will be passed out this afternoon!

Morning,

I'll be starting my new job today. I will spend most of the morning over at the main office filling out paperwork. Depending on when I finish that, I may grab some lunch in town or just head on in to work. I plan to go to the gym after work.

Good morning, all!

Hot and humid here, too. But I'll take it. Not much going on today, other than normal work tasks. We have to do some weeding and watering tonight. It's litter box day, too.....once a week, we empty out the five litter boxes, clean them and disinfect them well. Clean them again, then rinse them again. Let them dry for a bit, then refill with fresh litter. With all the scooping that I do, two to three times a day, that seems to work out well for us and for the cats.

Trying a new rub on pork tenderloins for the grill. It's made with cumin, paprika, cayenne, and chili powder. Hope it's tasty. We'll have it with a nice salad.

Well I caved and put on the air conditioner. Last night just wasn't comfy. DH and I have to go and sign off on our taxes and file them. (We have to June 15th as we are a small business) Have a ton of laundry to do. Might get into back garden and do some more weeding etc.

I think it's almost time for the baby pool here too. Hot and humid. DS is still teething. One out two to go but I think it's only one making him cranky. He spit up yesterday in his crib so I had to wash his two favorite animals. He skipped his 2nd nap and crashed just fine at bedtime without him. Thankfully they are dry now for his morning nap.

Not sure if I will hit the stores again. I have until Saturday to get my deals. DS was just too cranky when we got home yesterday and I am not in the mood to go through that again.

DH has been forgetful this week. He is starting to worry me. lol

Yesterday I received the sonic wave plug in for rodents. They produce this clicking sound that is driving me nuts. I may just unplug them if I can't find a way to block them out.

My FIL and Step MIL are coming for a visit. I could use some vibes for her. She is a 2-time Cancer survivor. She has an appointment for a cyst on her ovary. Hopefully it's benign.

It's been a rough two years for her. She has been catching every cold and has Epstein-Barr.

It's way hot here too but I'm not sure about the humidity but who cares, I have my a/c going full blast and it is so comfortable in here. Have no intention of leaving the house today, am doing laundry right now.

I love my new cable internet and phone service, what a difference. Should have done it a lot sooner.

Morning.. Wednesday.. yep.

It was cold last night and cool still this morning, supposed to go up to 70 today. Did some Wii Fit earlier, and looked for a recipe to try for dinner tonight. I'm going to try a Wild Mushroom Tart from Whole Foods's website. Sounds really good. I'll probably steam some broccoli to go with it. Yum! So I need to go food shopping for ingredients. Not much else going on really, or nothing worth typing about anyway.
