I've been busy lately, but I always find time for pictures! 
First, we have Sophie bird-watching with her "other" best buddy...Nika the malamute/collie. They moved before I could get a side shot showing their faces well - but the size difference (I think Soph is maybe the size of ONE of Nika's legs!) cracks me up.
Sophie and Jack lounging - that little Sophie-Ann looks more like a teddy bear than a cat sometimes.
NO, mama, you cannot make the bed...
...we like it MUCH better when it's unmade!
Sophie quickly puts on her Irritated Face. "No, I was NOT grooming him - I don't know what on earth you're talking about! He has cooties, you know."
You are disturbing our important resting time WHY, exactly?
And finally...I call this Synchronized Napping. They will lie in opposite directions in the middle of the floor, "holding hands" (one paw touching).

They have been such a constant light in my life - and otto, I tear up watching them on a regular basis! The first time I saw Sophie lie down with Jack and reach out to "hold his hand" (believe it or not, they've done that several times!), it was waterworks!
She honestly just doesn't look real sometimes - she is just all roundness and curves and enormous eyes, and has the tiniest little button nose. We always say that Jack is a stunning specimen of cat, and Sophie is a stunning specimen of plush teddy bear!
