This video was done for a recent donor appreciation event. It begins with basic information about the shelter, then it moves on to photos from my foster's (Nera Ann) Journey & ends with another shelter cat Bella.

A little background info. Nera Ann was left at our door in a box with a note that said "Can you please help this blind cat" Well she is not totally blind but was born with eye lid agenisis. In the first couple of photos you can see that she would keep her eyes closed tight all the time to prevent the hair from rubbing in her eyes. She went through several procedures to create the eyelids she was born without.

Bella, was about 9 months old when she came to us with two severly broken front legs. We raised the over $8,000 required to give her back the ability to walk. It has been a year long process to get her legs fixed. She will be going to her new home very soon. We did a donor appreciation event for the people who donated to Bella, Nera Ann & our regular donors so they could see what a differnce they made in these two girls lives.

I hope the link works & WARNING, there are some graphic photos of Bella's surgery. (Mods if you feel it is too graphic for this site, feel free to remove the link I understand)

Download the plugin. It's quick and the slideshow is definately worth it...albeit almost 14 minutes long

I probably won't live to see it, but I'd love to see a world where abuse is no longer, human or animal.
