Why is there a spork in the dry food tray?

I was filling the dry food feeder and noticed a foreign object in the tray. It was a spork I had gotten with takeout a couple of weeks ago.

I was sure I had thrown it away then.

Guess one of my kids is too good to eat like a regular cat.

It's not nearly as alarming as it sounds. A spork is a plastic utensil that is a combination of a fork and a spoon. I didn't know cats used them, though! That's very industrious.

I see! I was thinking maybe u'd kinda mixed up ur fingers while typing "fork" on the post's title, but then when u used same word in the body of the post, I was tad confused.

They look handy - more environmentally friendly than using both spoons and forks.

Maybe beneath all that fur, there lie little sets of fingers we don't know about...and that's why cats always look like they have outwitted us

In some places, a Spork is also a tinned meat product, closely related to Spam. The term also applies to the totally useless fork-spoon combination. If it makes you feel better, gemlady, I use plastic cutlery when I use the microwave, and started losing my stirring spoons, at least the ones I didnt nuke, and they would show up in my bed, on my chair, in shoes - Da Magpie was stealing them. She probably filled her drawer with her ill gotten booty as well
