with only supervised time outside of it till his neuter. He sprayed me..ME..MY leg! He sprayed my keyboard and monitor so i had to get another keyboard and cleaned off the monitor. THen this morning he jumped on the couch and peed on my blanket! Neuter is scheduled for June 11! I hope it diminishes his need to do this.

I hope he stops doing that after he is altered.
My brothers male still does it and even sprayed my brothers hair and the kitchen sink.
How old is he?
I hope he is young enough that it will stop.

Do you not think that confining him to the bathroom will only increase his stress?

I have one boy who was neutered late after a brief career as a stud, he has sprayed, but the only times he has done it has been when he has been stressed (most notably when he accidentally shut himself in the bedroom by pushing the door off the doorstop and sprayed on the bottom of the curtains because he was confined in a small area!), he doesn't do it normally. My cure was to remove anything that might get damaged, rather than punish him by locking him up. He's not done it now for ages.

Confining him will definitely increase his stress. Get some Feliway plug ins to help him calm down and let him carry on his life the same.

well him and my unspayed female cannot be left alone loose so i've been alternating them in and out of the bathroom. IM still doing that. He's just confined at night now. WHich is when he does most of his spraying. Which im thinking maybe due to me not letting him in our room anymore.
for the alternating it goes something like this:
7am let sirus out put peanut in
10am let peanut out put sirus in
1pm sirus starts meowing to come out so peanut goes in.

sometimes i let them both out together but that is when sirus is in one of his 'i dont wanna be bothered leave me alone moods' and is asleep in the kitchen. Peanut doesnt go in there and as soon as sirus wakes-he wears a bell-i can hear him walk to the dutch door getting ready to jump it-in the bathroom peanut goes. I do not want any tailess sirus babies!
