Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me with a question regarding breeding. Is it possible to work full time and still breed kittens? I've bred pet ferrets before and they were fine, but I'm a little unsure about kittens. Any ideas?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Yes, working full time and breeding cats works out. There may be a time when you need to take off of work and it's more work when you get home, but it is something I love to do.

I hold down a full time job and still am able to breed. I have a wonderful boss who knows when kittens are due and I might have to run home to check on them but then he understands that they come first. I usually don't make big plans when kittens are due but if I happen to be away judging a show, my husband is there. He actually will take a vacation day when I'm away to keep a watch on them (he works on Sundays and I usually don't come home until midnight Sunday nights). My boss also understands that when I come in tired and he knows kittens were due, I've been up all night and usually lets me leave a little early to go home to bed. He's very supportive and no he's not my husband although I see him more than I do my own husband. My boss is a really good friend also outside of work. My deal with him is -- I get no vacation but use whatever time I need to attend shows. I live out west and judge on the east so show weekends are busy. Again, it can be done although I usually don't have more then 2 litters a year. My mom also works a full time job and has been breeding for over 35 years. It can be done if you really want it to.

you can do anything you want to - I have a full time job and I am the president of an animal rescue organization. I also find time to attend cat shows, study to be a judge, and I am breeding (not a lot, but I will have two litters this year - one of munchkins and one of Abysinnians). So yes, it can be done, but good things always take time and work.
