cat intros and moving

Well I get to keep our hospital cat as I am moving and my coworkers thought she would do best with me. I have a cat already, a young playful male, and she is one that would rather sleep than play and doesn't really like other animals. I have had to do a speedier intro than I would like, as I am moving in 2 weeks. So far they are doing alright in the same rooms as each other, but they are not best buddies by far. Oscar likes to play and doesn't understand why Kattie doesn't want to play. He rolls around in front of her and tries to act all cute, but when she doesn't respond he tries to pounce on her. This results in alot of hissing but so far nothing really violent. I still keep them seperate when I'm not around but they are loose when I am here.
So far for the last 2 and a half weeks Kattie has slept in the spare room so she can eat and use the litterbox in peace, well I really want all of them in my room at night, and I tried that, and it just wasn't working, Oscar wanted no part of her in the room and I gave up and put her in the spare room. I bought rescue remedy which I will use on the move and am thinking of getting feliway, but will it work? It is pretty expensive and I am leery of spending that much money if it won't. I thought of putting it in my room to get everyone more relaxed. I am also hoping that since we are moving, that it will result in neutral territory for everyone and they can start out new in a new house. It is going to be stressful for all involved, but I want the least amount of stress possible.

Feliway works for some, but not for others. Unfortunately, there's no way to know if it'll help until you spend the $$. For some, it's been a saving grace, for some a help to get a step in the right direction. For example, read this thread - pay specific attention to post #13. And there are others who say it does nothing for their cats - IMO it's really hit & miss if it will work or not.
