My friend has put his room mate OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's leaving in July. He didn't want to put her out on the street with no where to go because she has a cat. He's much more thoughtful about her cat than she is about his!!! Anyway, she is moving back to Texas. It's uncertain if I will keep Turtle with me until she leaves. I'm afraid the room mate from Hell will really hurt her before she leaves town. My friend is really missing her. He has a vacation coming up at the end of June. He isn't going anywhere so I guess he could take her then. What does everyone think....

I think Turtle should stay with you until the roommate is gone. She's going to be bitter now and will take it out on Turtle. You friend can visit her at your place, surely? Turtle's well being depends on it.

I think Turtle will be safer with you until that woman is gone. Good job, by the way!

I must agree with this. At first I was thinking how can a cat-owner hurt a cat? The thing is, we have no way of knowing exactly what someone's capable of
So it's best to choose the safest way possible

Thanks All. I think I will follow my heart and everyone's advice and keep Turtle until that room mate has carried out her final piece of furniture.
My friend comes by every day to see his baby. I think the fact that he doesn't have Turtle with him has motivated him to take action and evict his roomie. I am proud of him for doing the right thing.

Good work all around - although I wouldn't leave the roomie alone in that apartment for any length of time before she moves - who knows what she might decide to do, if she's not happy about having to move out. A person can really trash a place quickly if motivated.

That's true too! A person who would hurt a cat obviously has no limit on the evilness they can do....anything horrible is possible. My friend is going to have to watch her from now until she moves and on moving day!!! She could even try to steal some of his stuff
