Marlow is indoors only for six months today. TNR'd one year ago today. Since I posted about him getting in bed with us about four weeks ago, he now is usually first in bed and gets the better spot. He also has started to vocalize his request for a meal when he gets hungry.

As many of you know, Sasha has been inside for over three years. in the photo you can tell where he got his belly shaved in preparation for his surgery that took place in January of this year.

Below: Sasha and Marlow are trying out for the kitty olympics. Synchronised sleeping. Two former ferals who done good.

Thanks for the update! I've been following his story, and it's nice to hear he has made the transition from feral to pet! Good job!!!!

Thanks for the update!! Whatever happened to the "new" kitty that was visiting your deck?

Hey Diggerled! Was just thinking about Sasha and Marlow. So good to hear all is going so well.

Our Beeba was semi feral and he also now gets in bed first and has the best spot too!

Love the synchronized sleeping quote. My laugh of the day!! Cute pic!!

I not sure which new cat you refer to. Funny you should ask though due to the events of the past week or so. We had a visitor laying on our deck grooming himself maybe two weeks ago. A very large cat colored exactly like Sasha. He bolted when he saw us. Last week we thought he had returned in the middle of the night for a few nights. Marlow and Sasha would spring from the bed and run to the door to see him. We assumed it was the large gray cat at first. The third time this happened I sat up and caught a glimps of the night visitor's tail. I could tell it was a smaller cat.

On Monday I went out the mud room door and spooked a small mackeraled tabby colored just like Marlow. He ran up my drive, paused to look back, then walked across the street. It looked to be less than a year old. I plan to TNR it if it returns. I have not seen it since Monday morning.

In other new cat news. Toby, the long hair male comes around occasionally but he has a home down the road. Spooky, the all black cat has not been seen since September. I thought he had been struck by a car in March. I drove past a black cat lying next to the hiway near where I used to see Spooky sometimes. I went home and got a bag and some gloves. It was not Spooky. This cat having white paws. Well she resides at our home now, underground though. Yes, I am now officially one of those people.

If anything happens with this young one I would be sure to tell all.

You certainly do, I wish there were more of "those people" in the world.
