Morning peeps!

We have been blessed with yet another beautiful day today, with sunshine galore!!

Off to work in a few minutes, I have to pick up some steaks on my lunch hour because I got some corn on the cob yesterday and I want to have a nice dinner with hubby tonight! He is usually in school until 9pm!

Tonight he will be home at diner time

Good morning and Happy Thursday.......

It's beautiful here, too, this morning. Nice and sunny with highs into the 80s. I'll take it.

Had a great time with my grandchildren last night. But they tuckered me out, as well as Mollipop. After they left for home, I plopped on the sofa with a book. Molli wasted no time hopping up on me, stretched out across my chest, and promptly fell fast asleep. And we never awakened until around 10:30 or so. We went straight to bed and went right back to sleep until 5:30 this morning when the alarm rang. I never did read any of my book.

I've been wanting a Staub chicken-shaped roaster now for quite awhile. I started following two listings on ebay. But then yesterday a new listing appeared for a brand new roaster at a very good price. I talked to my dear husband (who's out of town on business this week) this morning and since he knew that I've been wanting a roaster, he told me to go for it. So I did. And it should be here within the next few days!!

My girlfriends tell me that most women want pearls or diamonds or other jewelry. Me? I want pots and pans. And kitchen utensils. And cute dishes. And a Staub chicken-shaped roaster! Life is good!

It's almost afternoon here. DS has been sleeping in till 8:30 this week. I must admit I miss waking at 7am. It's noon, he wore me out & I don't feel like cleaning. I am sure I will adjust just in time for him to change his schedule again.

Mom's been on a roll lately with the cats. Cello goes back for his 3rd visit for his shots. Spunky goes next week and Connor goes his 3rd time for shots in 2 weeks. She has already put down $1000.

The last time Cello was at the vet DH & I took him to our vet. Mom took him back to the evil place. They have his records from our vet and has been calling almost everyday to check in on the cats. I think they secretly want to make sure they get our business. Too bad they ticked me off too much to bring my 3 there.

DH and I have to get Lucky, Molly & Benson this summer for their shots. Lucky is up first and hoping his mouth is perfect.

We also have to find time to get over to BJ's. It's not all that close but we desperately need litter. DH is dying to look at meat too.

Evening all

Today has been rubbish i went to the docs with my mam this morning about her sciatica (sp) what a waste of time that was shes being fobbed off.

Me and Blaine were meant to go out for a walk tonight along the coast but my knees wont let me they have got worse over the course of today so im struggling a bit but im oing to the docs tomorrow morning, im nervous coz knee problems kinda run in the family and the only op they can do to relieve the pain means i wouldnt be able to bend my knees right

Anywhooo I hope everyone enjoys the rest of there days

Morning, a nice day here in Long Beach too, sunny but hazy, 65 degrees going up to 78!!

I'm off soon to go do my site inspection that I didn't go do yesterday, and I need to buy cat food and cherry juice. Almost cherry season, I can't wait! I want to go to an orchard and pick my own this year, there's an area of cherry farms about an hour or 2 northeast of Long Beach that do pick-your-own days in June. Fun!

That's about all, BF is still in Oklahoma, he survivied the severe storms.. Hopheads tonight, but I think I'm going to skip it. It's at a wine bar with 23 new beer taps in Sunset Beach and I don't want to drink and drive. I usually bus or walk to wherever we're meeting, but this place will require 2 buses, the last of which only runs until about 8 or so. So I'd get there, say hi, then have to leave! So I'll stay home, read/watchTV/DVDs and not spend any money. Sounds ok to me.

G'afternoon.

Well today started off crap..... gotta love it when ppl take your emotions, crumple em up, and toss em like trash. But that one is my fault, as a wise woman once said "Noone can make you feel inferior without your own consent".

Anyways....

My daughter forgot her lunch, so I had to run to school and drop it for her. Stopped at a salon on the way home, got a hair cut (nothing drastic but was due)....came home for some lunch and shortly I'll be working out for a bit, then going outside for some more of this GORGEOUS

and have a couple drinks and just attempt to relax.

Sleep was not my friend

but then, it seldom is. So maybe a nap...

BBQ for supper....
