Thanks Everyone,
The vet just called and said we can pick her up after 4.
She will need to get more blood once she is done with the baytril.

Just saw this thread - how scary, but I'm glad to see good news.

Sending lots of quick recovery for Oreo.

Poor girly!!!! I hate it when they are sick.
We all do.

Where was the infection? Were her liver levels REALLY bad or? She doesn't have a liver problem right?

Did the vet say what caused it?

Sorry for all the questions, just curious because of Bear's issues.

I am so glad that she went through the surgery ok. I know you are still a worried mommy though.

Where was the infection? Your kitties sure keep you on your toes, lol. I hope she heals up soon, having sick cats is no fun.

He is about the same, I let him chase the laser light tonight and he loved that. I made sure that he didn't over do it though. Apparently the puppy loves the laser light too, I had to put her in another room so Bear could play with it lol. Then I took the pup outside so she could play with the laser light too.

Thanks,
She cried all night but is ok.
Cleo and Wrinkles are hissing and growling at her.
I knew Cleo would act that way.
Every time one of my cats has surgery she treats them bad.
Oreo is on the couch next to me now purring.

I'm so glad to hear she made it through the surgery. I guess that was the main concern, huh? And they got all the infection out? I've never heard of having to surgically remove infection, but whatever. At least it is done and she is home, sweet girl.

Thanks Everyone,
She still has pain and the vet called asking how she is.
They always do when one of my cats have surgery.
