I had to put the air conditioner back in the window today. I was freezing everyone else out of the house because my room/office is so hot. Mini-fridge, 3 computers, and the DVR. it will stay over 80 in here. so i have to crank the a/c down since the cats can't go out of the room and the door is closed. which freezes the rest of the place.

So i got an a/c unit. but removed it once it got cold. it is no longer cold

So, tinker had no problem showing me how she could no longer lay on the sill to look out the window.

so i gave in, bought some brackets, and a shelf and made the a little area they could jump up to and lay down.

they're happy again

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

That is too cute! I have the same issue, my a/c is in the window that the cats love to sit in. I had a window perch in that window, but I had to remove it when I put the a/c back in the window because it sits on the window sill with velcro.

Do you think the shelf will cause the a/c to freeze up? I will have to figure something like that out......

well, i actually struggled with putting it back in at all. because it really bugged me taking up the onlly place they had to look outside. and they sit in the window for easily half the time they're awake.

I was glad when i finished. i had the a/c unit in for a few hours while figuring out what to build, getting the stuff etc. and I felt guilty the whole time lol
