well had a scare today. 3 of my adult cats almost killed callisto...the guilty adults: Gemma, Biggie, and Peanut.
i saw it happen. they attacked her and i had to kick them off her. I ended up dumping water on them and had to rush her to the vet. She has stitches o n her back and a tore up ear. She will be fine the vet said but suggested i not bring her back here cause of the big cats. She is at my friends house and not here right now. I cannot trust them not to do it again.
vet said they may have saw her as prey due to her small size and the fact that she hops and doesnt really move like a cat. Anybody ever hear or had this happen? It scared me bad. My friendl lives around the corner from me so i can check up on her. I just dont get it the cats dont mess with the bird or the hamster.
The vet also wants to take a closer look at her tail he said it looks like it was eaten off by perhaps the mother.
