out of her current situation. Her daddy is getting his "act" together and is in the process of trying to either get his room mate evicted or move out himself. His room mate is very angry and since she is home with Turtle while he is at work; I thought it best NOT to give her the opportunity to take her anger out on Turtle. There is a lot of chaos going on right now and I will be damned if I'm going to sit here in a peaceful, loving home and NOT allow Turtle the same environment. How could I?
Anyway, she is fine. She has already stayed her before so she knows Bella. And she knows I will play with her and love on her. She is very adaptable at this young age. The only rule I have is "Please don't wake Bella up"
Of course, whatever goes on between him and his roomie is none of my business BUT when Turtle becomes the object of her aggression THEN I make it my business. So I have butted right on in...
I just wanted to let you all know what is going on with this nightmare. I know I've the right thing every time I look at that sweet little tortie face

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that your friend's housing situation isn't working out and poor Turtle got caught in the middle. Thanks for being able to take her though, I'm sure the stability of your house is much more preferable, especially considering how much she's been through already!! Best of luck to all of you, and I hope everything works itself out ok and your friend can have his life and his kitty back soon!

You did the right thing. I'd take her myself if I were closer.

I would have taken the room mates cat too if I could. Or at least slapped her on the way out. (the room mate not the cat) People who are mean to cats should not be allowed to have them.

Turtle is very lucky to have you in her life.

Get the other cat if you can.

So glad you got her out of there. Lets hope the room mate is the next to go. You are Turtles guardian angel.

Thanks to all for your kind words I just did what any of you would have done. We're all in this together. We don't have a good day when we know of a suffering cat.

Just wanted to add to the messages to say well done for removing her from that nasty environment. But don't dismiss what you did, not everyone is so caring, so give yourself a pat on the back (and some vibes) for being such a giving person.

Hope your friend's rooming situation sorts itself out soon.

Please keep us posted.

Well done!

I am so relieved to see this. Well done! Keep us updated.

How are Turtle and Bella managing? I know Turtle has been there before so Bella probably remembers her?

Bella just looks at Turtle as she plays around the apartment. There's no growling or hissing from Bella. Do you think Bella isn't aggressive cuz she knows Turtle is just a little girl and not a threat?
Of course I don't leave Turtle alone with Bella when I'm not there, but I'm very proud of Bella! If there was ever a time when I needed Bella's cooperation it's NOW. Thanks EVERYONE for your support. I really need it.
