Ice Cream or Cheese?

I don't know why, but my husband and I were having this conversation the other day. If you had to completely give up either ice cream or cheese, which would it be?

For me it would be ice cream. No contest. I could never give up cheese.

Absolutely!! I do love ice cream, but there are many, many fine alternatives. For cheese, there are no alternatives, and sooooooooooo much lovely variety! Total no brainer for me.

Yep, I agree, ice cream, its very rare I have ice cream only when I fancy it if we are out probably at the seaside but cheese I tend to have it alot, couldn't live without it. x

I too would give up ice cream. I can get my sweet tooth fix from cookies or cake or something else yummy, but there is no substitute for cheese. I'm a pizza-holic and pizza without cheese should be a crime. Can't live without my cheese on my pizza!

I already have given up ice cream years ago because it just does not make my tummy happy.

It looks like you are in the minority so far.

Living in a warm state probably helps that ice cream addiction.

I love my ice cream. But cheese is essential. I can eat yogurt or sherbet or something, but no substitute for ice cream. By the way, don't ever ever ask me to give up watermelon.

I have an elderly friend who believes she is allergic to cheese - any kind of cheese! Amazing that she's not allergic to mink or ice cream!

We don't argue with her, but she won't touch anything she believes cheese has touched!

Both. I'm lactose intolerant and dairy causes me huge amounts of pain. I don't like soy cheese, and soy ice cream is good, but I don't have it often, so I could give that up easily.

I'd give up ice cream - cannot live without cheeses. Ice cream is not something I buy often anyway, so not buying it at all would be no hardship....but no cheese....that would be horrible
