From what I heard, they filmed 2 endings. If it was getting renewed then we saw the cliffhanger ending. If it was getting canceled, we saw the ending where they wrapped things up.

Yup. It's really gone. Very upsetting here for NY actors and crew people. It provided alot of work.

My boyfriend got a small gig on the last episode - and when he shot it, it was considered the season finale. Now, it's the finale of the whole series!!
Bummer.

The worst though was Vampire Diaries. (Sorry if nobody else watches it) I hate when they leave huge cliffhangers like that.
Yeah, I couldn't believe the finale of OTH! I really don't want to wait to see who survives. I watch Gossip Girl too, and that was almost the same ending as OTH.

I haven't watched Vampire Diaries. I just finished the 2nd to last episode, and will probably watch the finale tonight.

Private Practice was really sad. I def didn't see Dell dying. And I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy. I'll probably be staying up to watch it, even though I work early in the morning.

I really hate season finales!

I think Grey's is going to be too intense to watch before bedtime.
How did Gossip Girl end? I turned in early and missed the last 20mins

Yeah, I'll have to see how tired I am. Maybe I'll watch the first hour, and tape the 2nd hour.

I don't know how much you saw .. But Chuck proposed to Blair, but she rejected him (I think that's how it happened) And then at the very end, he was walking outside, I dont know where exactly, and 2 guys came up and were going to rob him. They found the engagement ring and Chuck tried to resist, and he ended up getting shot. It ended with him lying on the ground in blood.

Umm, Jenny is leaving Brooklyn, and oh! Georgina came back, and revealed to Dan that she is pregnant. Now, if that's the truth or not, we'll find out next season.

I forgot to watch House too, but DVR'd it and luckily only read up to "happy happy joy joy" and stopped, so I was in for a surprise. I saw the preview for Bone's season finale and figure if she goes it might as well be a series finale. She IS the show. I have a lot to catch up on though before I watch it.

I saw it confirmed in TV Guide. Sad. I
Jack McCoy. Always have. And then they said there will be an LA spin-off. Bah. It can't be half as good.

I know. I agree. L&O needs to have that "New York" spin, a certain "NY" vibe. I can't see an LA Law & Order being as good either.

Well Grey's was one of the best episodes this season or maybe ever. Yes it was intense and they even posted a warning of violence before the show and within 10 minutes someone was shot in the head.

At least they didn't make us wait till next season to see who was killed, we know who survived and who didn't. A very powerful ending to the season.

Anyone watch The Mentalist? I think last night's was its season finale. Red John facing Patrick Jane. He reacted in a weird way, I thought.

I saw The Mentalist last night, it WAS the season finale, and I DIDN't understand what Red John said to him, so was confused myself. Did Red John kill Christine, or IS Red John Christine? I think I may have to flip over to CBS.com to read the blog on this show to see what they're saying!!

I felt the same way. He comes across as such a level headed guy, and to just wig out like that threw me.

See, I felt like Red John is Christine. The character just walked a little too women like to be a man. I didn't like Christine anyway.

Ohmigosh. That never even crossed my mind!
But it would explain so much! Jane usually reacts with such coolness to things. This was different. He was more "pondering". He didn't even seem that upset. Now I think it's because something about Red John triggered a recognition in him, and it is Christine and he now knows it's Christine.

That's amazing! I love that theory!

Phew! I'm SO relieved that they made it a happy ending for the Lieu on L&O. If they killed her off I would have been so depressed.

I caught the look on her face after she 'hung up' her phone. Saw her say "I have to take this" and the stupid dish went out, then came back on and she had tears in her eyes and a relieved look. Gonna try to catch it tomorrow night on CTV - with luck there is not going to be screaming winds and a downpour so I missed most of it.

I was sort of holding my breath during that phone call. I would have been really p.o.'d if they just left it without any reaction from her, making the viewers guess. The look of relief on her face was wonderful.

I think their finale was fantastic. Really good episode.

Anyone see the season finale for Medium last Friday night? Also really good, I thought.
