So I got a Kindle for my birthday, and an Amazon gift certificate for Mother's Day. But somehow my Scottish roots keep me from spending money on almost anything, so I want recommendations on the ONE BEST BOOK you would always keep with you and read over and over. I hate paying for things like coffee, books, and water, all of which should be free, LOL!

I read EVERYTHING. Kids books, classics, romance - sorta, historical. Mostly fiction.

Pride and Prejudice! That one is my all time favorite.

And the best thing is on the Amazon Kindle, this book is FREE!!! I love free books

Btw, I ordered my Kindle last week. It should be here in a couple of days. I can't wait. Pride and Prejudice is going to be my very first Kindle book!

I love my Kindle, and most of the classics are free.

I love to read and there are several books I read over and over again. If I had to choose just one, it would be The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

well, you're somewhat limited w/Kindle - not all books come in that format.
if Gone With The Wind comes in Kindle format, that's the one i'd pick - i can read it over & over [& have].
