It's going to be a beautiful day here today!! Summery even, high of 24 degrees and sun sun sun!!

DH's cousin is doing a photo shoot with my coworkers Boston Terrier today after work, I am so excited! He is putting her on a calendar!

Off to work in a few...need to do a lot of laundry tonight since we just got back from outta town.

Morning,

We're having warm, wet weather here. I was joking with my friend yesterday that all the mosquitoes are coming up here for vacation because it's so damp. We're supposed to have a few more thunderstorms today.

I'm at work, doing a regular eight-hour day today. I haven't been doing a lot of those lately between writing my dissertation and graduation. I also accepted a job today that will take effect once my student stipend ends at the end of the month. As part of the deal, I got a new computer, so I'll be spending a good part of the day setting that up. I also have to call around and try to schedule some various appointments and get a prescription refilled. If there's any time left over, I may actually get a little actual work done.

I've been really slacking on the gym lately, so I plan to go today either at lunch time or at the end of the day.

I am sitting here, recaffeinating, to the lovely sound of the tractor and air seeder working south of the house. Also that heady smell of fresh, damp earth being turned is coming through the finally opened windows. Weather liar says 27°C today and possibly t-boomers tonight. I have to be off soon, gotta get new connectors for the electric fence - contact to the fencer is intermittant on both ground and hot because the clamps rusted, and I am afraid to clean them one more time, afraid the spring will disintegrate or at least bust.

Weirdly we are having very similar weather here in the north. I thought I was going to melt when I had to go out. It's much warmer than usually this time of year. The 29°C limit was crossed today and yesterday, we had some thunder during the night and the rest of the week will be same.

And no, I'm not used to this kind of weather and neither are my kitties who are all just looking like puddles of fur on the floor, not moving unless they have to (or 'till the sun goes down).

Morning.. Seems the "June Gloom" has come early to SoCal!! Yesterday it was cool, damp and cloudy most of the day, and today it's the same again so far. Looks like it either rained a bit or just really misty low clouds made the ground wet.. Not sure. In any case, it's just gloomy. it's even supposed to rain tonight/tomorrow morning!! In mid-May!! Here, in Long Beach!!

I hope it does rain. We need it, as always.

Today... gotta pick up some prescriptions, spend some time on Wii Fit, I think there were some other things I actually had planned, but I can't think of them now. They'll come to me.

Relaxing at home after work now. Got our stolen tow dolly back today

Had a late lunch with Rob this afternoon. Time to watch the boring rain come down. Apparently I missed the storm earlier and now its just rainy. Streets are floody, woo.

just been out with blaine for a drive alon the coast was nice little drive

Yep, nearly my bedtime too, I have been so busy, haven't started on my packing yet for the move :-( Have been to see my kid's new school today, it looks fab and they approve

I am so excited now. Plus its been warm here today, one tiny shower but nothing major, I hope summer is finally upon us. Downside I think hubby and I are coming down with summer flu but I am that happy I don't care
