We went and met the kittens yesterday. My GF lost her 16 YO to renal failure in December and her 4 YO, Sammy, needs a playmate. There are 3 kittens, 2 boys and a girl. All are lilac point Balinese. The breeder is keeping one, but hasn't decided on which. The candidates for my GF are Chester & Daisy. The first 3 pics are Chester, then one of Mom, and then 3 pics of Daisy.

I'm in love!

Chester and Daisy are both adorable little blue eyed cuties!
I would want to adopt both of them.
Their mother is very pretty too.
Do you know what color points can cross to make lilac points?
I know that the people I adopted my two cats from were trying to breed lilac points, I think they were breeding a seal point and a chocolate point both with a blue point male.
Isn't lilac point a rare color compared to the other color points?

Those kittens are just too cute, it makes me wish I had been able to get my girls as kittens but they were 2 and 3 years old when I adopted them.

Last year Mom was the first Lilac Point Bainese CFA National Winner ever! I'm not sure if other combinations can produce Lilac babies, but if Mom and dad are lilacs then all the babies will be lilacs. In this case dad was in fact, a lilac. I think Chester has taken the lead, for those of you keeping score at home

Oh wow they are both beautiful. I know it will be so hard deciding. Mom is beautiful, too.

Welcome all of you to TCS

I did take the pics. Between my girlfriend and the kittens it would have been hard to take a bad one

First off, I am so sorry for your girlfriend's (and your) loss. But, I, too, am delighted to hear that sweet Sammy will have a playmate again soon.

As for the photos, they are amazing. I wish I could take pictures like that! But, you're right, when you're dealing with a loved one and little kittens, it would be difficult not to take a precious photo
!

And, the kittens. Oh, the kittens
. I'd never be able to make a decision -- they'd both be coming home with me. But, since I can play a good game, I would choose Daisy. I'm not sure why, but I am always more prone to pick female pets (though my hamsters are all male and my one kitty, Finn, is a boy as well). There's just something in Daisy's eyes that reach out and tug at my heartstrings. And, that's not saying that Chester isn't absolutely darling as well! See?! I told you I wouldn't be able to choose!

Will your girlfriend be joining TCS? We could definitely use more pics of the kits -- especially the one she finally decides upon! Either way, please keep us updated on who wins the "race." I'm certain that whichever kitten she decides to bring home, it will be loved and cherished...
