Cat Eye

Hello,
my name is shannon, i havent been on the site in awhile. I actually have a couple of questions.
1. What should i do if my cat has been peeing on my bed, clothes, etc?
I've been closing my bedroom door every day. I clean her litter box daily, i took her to the vet and got her spayed and asked and they ran a bunch of tests and everything was normal. But, it is still happening about two-three times a week. And it is always when i am gone.

2. My other cat which is a boy and about a year and a half and fixed has two different colored eyes. Should i be worried about this?
They arent just two different color, one of them actually has like speckles everywhere in the eye. Its really weird looking...but unique. I am going to attach a picture so there is a better idea (in the picture i was petting him no worries) of what i am talking about. There is no discharge, he doesnt poke at it and he see's fine i even covered one eye to see if he could still see the laser pointer on the wall with the other and he did.

Thank you!
LL

Hi my name is Shannon too. Is your vet aware of the eye difference? I know there are cats with different color eyes, but don't know about the odd pattern. I'd just ask the vet about it.

When did you last have your female cat to the vet? Probs can come p so fast in a cat. Clean the areas with an enzyme cleaner. It gets rid of the smell so a cat will not go in that area anymore. Has there been any changes in your home to stress this cat?

Try a couple Feliway plug ins.

But I would start with a vet visit to r/o any urinary probs.

Thank you Shannon!

She got spayed about a month and a half ago. She has been doing this since she was a baby. When we got her spayed we had them run blood work and see if there were any urinary problems. Nothing came back so i am assuming at this point it is more of a learned behavior. We out her in a smaller area with a kitty litter box then started expanding the area and the behavior would stop for a week or so. But if we were to go out of town for the day or are gone all day we come home to a puddle on the bed. We have bought several mattress protectors and clean the area with sanitizer but it hasn't stopped. She is our baby and we love her but in all the times we have never caught her in the act. When we started closing our bedroom door and putting out three litter boxes she started going on the futon in the other room. what do we do?

If your vet only ran bloodwork, I'd take her back to specifically test her urine for a UTI/crystals. I once had a cat that showed nothing particularly abnormal on the bloodwork who had urinary issues (blood in urine & some crystals).

You can also try Cat Attract kitty litter, or the litter additive.

Since your cat pees inappropriately when you are gone I am guessing it may be due to stress. She doesn't like it when you aren't around. Have you tried keeping a radio or TV on when you're not there and seeing if that makes any difference?

...I've never seen a cat's eye look like that before. Was it always like that? Or has it appeared gradually over time? It doesn't appear irritated, whatever is going on is going on on the iris of the eye. I'd ask the vet what this might be. At any rate it is only going on on one eye, so even if it turns out to be something bad and he loses sight in this eye his other one should be fine.

Re the eye, Murphys eye started out both green, then about a year old he got one gold speck in it .. then a few more appeared like your cats eye (not so many) and the gradually his whole eye turned gold!

I posted on here at the time and was told to get it checked out as eye cancer can start like that.
Anyhow, we went to the vet, consulted an eye care vet and he said it's just pigment change and his eye is totally fine! =)

Here are some pictures of the gradual change:
