I was wondering how to turn off the option that sends e-mails when someone replies to a post I've participated in. I thought I did this by selecting No to the "Use 'Email Notification' by default" option. But I'm still getting a bunch of e-mails. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?

Thanks!!

Make sure you hit the "submit" button at the bottom after you change your options. If that doesn't work, maybe someone else can lend a hand!

you need to go into your 'user cp' section and into your 'edit options' there is a
question there that reads: Use 'Email Notification' by default?

just click the 'no' box

if that doesnt work, i'll ask Anne...

is that what you've already tried?

also, when posting or replying to a thread you can un-check the email notification box:

Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible.

it is automatically checked for you, so you have to un-check it yourself.
