Sores, Vomiting, and White Stool

We have a kitty who has been getting sores. At first I thought it was from the cats playing, but the vet says it's more than playing marks. He has these sores all over his body. (everywhere except his legs) The vet has tried steroids and itch medicine. They are still here. She said the next step is to do blood work for an allergy.
This same cat has been throwing up. It's always after he eats, it has undigested food in it. The vomit has started to turn green in the last day or so.

My other cat has started to have white stools. We talked to the vet again who said if it doesn't go away to bring him in for blood work to check his liver. I am currently separating the cats just to be 100% sure it is him with the white stools.

I'm wondering if it's the costco food I've been feeding them. We seemed to have quite the problems after switching about 5 months ago. I'm wondering if we need to go back to Blue Buffalo.

Any thoughts, opinions?

I think a gradual switch back to the previous food is wise, esp. if you weren't having these problems while they were on it. Also, I'd not wait on the fecal test. Id collect a sample tomorrow, put it in the fridge, and drop it off at the vet's on Monday.

I took some pictures of my kittys sores. I thought maybe they were starting to clear up, but he has 2 new open ones on his back. Here are some pics of the new ones:

and he still has all of the old ones all over his body. You can see all these spots in his fur where he has the sores. They crust over like a scab since they are open and bloody when they are new.

Has anyone seen anything like it? Does it look like an allergy to you guys? We switched their food, but it's only been a little less than a week. We have another appointment to bring him back to the vet, but wanted to see if anyone here was familiar with it.

It could be. If you can, get the allergy tests done and start trying to figure out what the trigger for this is.

Be aware that switching foods now may not fix the problem if this is an allergy that your cat developed to an ingredient that is in both foods. It may be better to just start working with the vet now to figure out what the allergen is.

Get other kitty in for tests, too. If it's liver related the vet may want him on a special prescription food.

I took care of some cats for neighbor and she fed them that brand and the kittens would puke alot. My other concern is how many cats do you have and is it possible foods going bad before you finish it? White stool is often seen in dogs that ate alot of marrow bones-i wonder if the batch of food is screwed up? Do the sores smell at all? itch?
Are they in his reach of doing them?

We have 3 cats, so they go through the food pretty quickly. We've been on the kirkland brand for about 6 month now and the sores have shown up in the last month or so. So I guess it is possible it could be a bad batch??? Or maybe it took that long for the allergy to show up?

The sores don't smell at all. But he is itching like crazy. The vet did a steroid shot on him and then itch meds after that. It didn't take care of the itching at all. So I don't know if the sores are making him itch, or if he's itching from an allergy, causing the sores.
Although some of the sores are all the way on the top of his back, so I'm not sure how he'd reach those...
