Today's question is about CATS, how ironic

How often do you take your cats to the Vet.

Is the Vet male or female

I take Autumn to the vet once a year for her annual checkup. More often of course if she has any problems. The vet is a female and the place I take her is called Just Cats since she only takes care of cats. The good thing about this is that there are no dogs running around to scare the cats and it is much quieter

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's.

Ummm, it depends.....

I can't use last year as an example because they had to go for kitten shots/neuters and a bunch of health visits.

So I'll generalize and say all illness aside, once fully vaccinated, they go 1x yr or every 2yrs.

My vet(s) are both male and female. We see several at the clinic I go to and it just depends on who is working that day.

Yearly, or more often. Recently between Sherman's ordeal and getting kittens in I was at the vet at least once a week for about a month.
I still have to go buy his food so I'm there often.

My vet's male, another one I used was female but I didn't like how she did some things.

Yearly for vaccines and bloodwork. Cleo's CRF is stable, so I've been doing her blood work yearly. Then on an 'as needed' basis for Lola's UTI/crystal issue or Cleo's anal glad issue. I also stop by about once a month to pick up renal food. My vet is Dr. Sue. There are 5 female vets in this practice. I like all of them!

About once a year, unless they have some sort of problem.

Our vet is a woman, and so is the second vet at her office. Very good and competent vets, concerned about the shelter and stray animals, and knowledgeable about a lot of stuff.

I take each kitty once a year, plus illnesses, so I end up visiting ~6 times per year total. The vet I go to has 4 vets, all women. They're all married, which is a shame, because a couple of them are hot.

I take them once a year for their checkup and rabies shot, and if they have a health issue. My vet is a female and she runs a cats only clinic. She is great, and I love the fact that she specializes in cats.

I take Butzie more often than once a year because I am too chicken to cut her nails.
Also, it seems that she has other problems that I need to take her. Like when she limped this winter (better). Or tomorrow, when I see the vet, female, because Butzie has ear mites. I don't know what possessed me to look in her ears. I have never done that before. Sure enough, one was filled with "dirt" and when I looked it up, it said mites. Maybe somehow I knew.

Once a year for her check up and whenever she is not feeling well. My vet is a woman. I've been taking my cats to her for almost 30 years!!!

Is Butzie indoor only? And has she ever had flea treatments like Revolution? Because unless she's been in close contact with a unkempt cat (outdoor stray) recently and they've mutually groomed each other, Butzie shouldn't have earmites - it could however be infection or allergies.

Once a year and I hope it stays that way! Well, in reaity I take Jake to be weighed once a month but that doesn't count cuz he doesn't really SEE the vet, just the vet tech.
The vet is a guy and a very good looking one at that

Mine all go for a checkup every 6 months, so twice a year. And then there's the occasional cold, but those come and go whenever. So on average probably 4 times each or so.

I see multiple vets. Most are female, but 2 of my usual ones are male. All of them seem to really care about my kitties, so that's always good.
