Aurora "Rory"

Thread Starter
Rory was part of a litter recently rescued from a hoarder's home. She was emaciated , and laying on a pile of garbage. An afternoon at the vets, lots of meds, and one flea bath later, she seemed to feel better. For a couple of days she seemed to be improving, and was actually playing. Over a couple of days her appetite waned. Yesterday morning when I went to check on them, she was lethargic. She was rushed to the vet, and then the e-vets. She continued to go downhill despite IV fluids, and meds. Late, late last night her heart rate was over 300 beats per minute, and she was not responding. The decision was made to let the poor baby go.

Rest in peace sweet Rory. You deserved better in this life than what you got.

Poor sweetheart! At least she knew love and care in her last days, however brief that was.

RIP Sweet Rory

Rory, what a sweet girl. If I said what I think about the people who neglected her, I would be kicked off this site.

God bless her and you for taking care of her. She is an kitten now. What better place to be?

RIP sweet girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I also lost a young kitten out of a litter that I was fostering. My little Moose was so special. But I'm glad that I saved the litter as his siblings all got good homes and Moose had some love and compassion, even for a short time. Little Rory was very lucky to have you in her short life.

Godspeed over Rainbow Bridge, little Rory. I am glad that you knew the comfort and joy of having a name, a safe home and LOVE before you crossed. You were so beautiful - our Wonderful Creator must have had special plans for you, dear one. Condolences to your rescuers for this disappointing outcome
